THE FOUNDATION COURSE
Basic Freediver sits between Try Freediving and the full SSI Freediver course. It is designed for students who want real structured training and an SSI certification but are not yet ready for the complete open-water Level 1 program.
You learn the key ideas behind breathing, relaxation, equalization, equipment and buddy safety, then practice the required skills in a pool or confined-water environment.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Basic Freediver is the shortest certification route; Pool Freediver is the more complete confined-water pathway before SSI Freediver.

WHY LIFE AQUATIC IN KAŞ
Life Aquatic treats Basic Freediver as a foundation course, not a shortened depth course. We focus on clean habits — breathing, equalization, movement and buddy awareness — so the next level is easier to build.
We use progressive practice, individual feedback and realistic session goals so the skill you learn is repeatable — not something that only worked once during the course.
