Assessment & technique
Review your current diving, identify efficiency losses and establish realistic course goals.
Depth should come from better technique, not more effort. Refine your Frenzel equalization, freefall, relaxation and safety skills while learning how your body responds as pressure increases.

DEVELOP DEPTH WITH CONTROL
Advanced Freediver is for certified freedivers who already understand the basics and want to become more efficient, more comfortable and more capable at depth.
The focus shifts toward better equalization, cleaner line technique, deeper relaxation, understanding pressure and physiology, and stronger safety skills for more demanding dives.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Advanced Freediver is designed for certified freedivers who have the basics but need better technique before deeper dives become comfortable and repeatable.
YOUR 4-DAY COURSE
The exact sequence adapts to the diver and conditions, while the required SSI standards remain the foundation of the program.
Review your current diving, identify efficiency losses and establish realistic course goals.
We teach and refine Frenzel: tongue and glottis control, head position, timing, dry drills and the transfer from shallow practice to head-down depth.
Work with relaxation, freefall awareness, body position and progressive exposure to greater pressure.
Develop stronger rescue technique, buddy positioning and decision-making for deeper sessions.
Put the elements together in controlled dives and build a plan for continued progression.
WHAT YOU DEVELOP
Use Frenzel with less force, better timing and more consistent pressure control as depth increases.
Use gravity, alignment and relaxation more effectively.
Improve line orientation, turns, ascent rhythm and hydrodynamics.
Understand pressure, dive response and what changes as dives become deeper.
Improve rescue awareness and buddy procedures for deeper training.
Learn when to progress, repeat, stop or change the objective.
WHY LIFE AQUATIC IN KAŞ
Advanced courses are highly individual. At Life Aquatic we assess your current equalization and line technique first, then build the four days around the limiting factor. We teach Frenzel explicitly and use dry practice, shallow repetitions and progressive depth rather than waiting for equalization to fail.
We use progressive practice, individual feedback and realistic session goals so the skill you learn is repeatable — not something that only worked once during the course.

COURSE FAQ
You must be at least 15, hold SSI Freediver or an accepted equivalent, and have at least six logged in-water freediving sessions.
SSI Advanced Freediver has a maximum open-water depth limit of 30 metres.
Life Aquatic normally runs the course over 4 days. SSI recommends 24–30 hours for completion.
No. Equalization, efficiency, relaxation, physiology, safety and rescue skills are central parts of the program.
Tell us before the course. We can assess technique early and adapt the progression rather than simply pushing depth.
The next recreational level is SSI Performance Freediver.
Yes. Frenzel is introduced in SSI Freediver and refined in Advanced Freediver, where it is a key part of the training. We work on the mechanics, tongue and glottis control, timing, head position and transferring the technique from dry practice to depth.
That is very common. We break the problem down with dry drills, head-up or shallow-water practice when useful, then progressively transfer the technique to head-down depth.
Thirty metres is the SSI maximum depth for the program. The course is built around meeting SSI standards with clean technique and safe progression, not forcing a maximum-depth attempt.
