Freediving in Kaş

Where the mountains meet the Mediterranean — and depth begins just beyond the shore.

WHY KAŞ?

A small Mediterranean town built around the sea.

Kaş sits between the mountains and the clear waters of Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast. It is compact, relaxed and deeply connected to the sea — a place where mornings can begin underwater and evenings end around the old streets of town.

For freedivers, its real advantage is simple: depth is close. The coastline drops away quickly, making consistent depth training possible without turning every session into a full-day expedition.

Our season runs from mid-spring to mid-autumn, every day 08:00–18:00, giving divers a long window to learn, train and return to the water. In winter we train in the pool in Istanbul.

OUR HOME IN KAŞ

Freediving is part of the day, not the whole day.

Life Aquatic is based at Kaş Kamping with direct access to the Mediterranean. The small-scale setup is deliberate: less time on logistics, more attention in the water, and space to recover between sessions.

That rhythm is one of the things we value most about Kaş. Training, swimming, food, conversation, rest and sunset all belong to the same experience.
