Life Aquatic works with complete beginners, certified freedivers, athletes and future instructors. Safety, technique, equalization, relaxation and individual progression come first.
The way we relate to water shapes the way we teach. Freediving is not simply about holding your breath and reaching a number. Two divers at the same depth can need completely different coaching, so we work with the diver in front of us rather than forcing everyone through the same template.

At Life Aquatic, young freedivers progress without pressure to chase numbers. We focus on comfort, gentle equalization, efficient movement, buddy awareness and safe habits — creating a strong foundation for a lifelong relationship with the water.

Before you book
Where is Life Aquatic?
At Kaş Kamping, Necipbey Caddesi No:3, Kaş, Antalya, on Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast. We train from shore, with lines at about 30, 40 and 60 metres.
Do I need experience to start?
No. Try Freediving (from age 10, €160) and the 3-day SSI Freediver course (from age 12, €440) are designed for complete beginners.
Which agency certifies the courses?
SSI (Scuba Schools International). The school is led by Adnan Yanbay, an SSI Freediving Instructor Trainer.
When is the freediving season in Kaş?
From 15 April to 15 November, every day 08:00–18:00. September and October are especially pleasant: the sea is still warm and the town is quieter. Outside the season we run pool training in Istanbul.
